A blossom in Leathermarket Gardens

A small blossom in Leathermarket Gardens in Bermondsey, London. At first, I thought this was a Hawthorn blossom but the leaves don’t look quite right. Next, I thought it was a Blackthorn, but the flowers rarely blossom with the leaves and there were no thorns on any of the branches in my photos of this tree. I’m a bit stumped, but I’m no expert with identifying trees. Some cherry blossoms look a bit like this but I don’t think it’s a cherry blossom. Maybe it’s a small, lone almond blossom?
