Ox-eye daisies

Ox-eye daisies in Sheaf Valley Park. Ox-eye daisies are native to Europe but have spead to many other continents where it is considered an invasive species. They are larger cousins to the smaller, familiar dasies adn can be quite lovely flowering in an open field. The photo was taken during a lovely June weekend in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. I believe the actual location is between the Sheffield train station and the Cholera Monument Grounds. It was a lovely spot on a lovely weekend before I went into the Peak District.
