A short way outside the Taj Mahal, on Taj East Gate Road, is a small nature park and bird sanctuary. It’s a nice little spot away from the chaos of the rest of Agra. It’s also not as popular as other attractions so you can wander down paths and not run into another person for a few moments, which is lovely. There are labels, most with English available, for the plants, birds, and some other animals. For those interested in some of the more common wildelife of central India it can be a nice, easy lesson and a chance to spot some of the common birds.
