Man o' War Cove

The landscape near Durdle Door

The white cliffs of the Jurassic Coast near Durdle Door, in southern England. Perhaps somewhat surprisingly, Durdle Door itself is not National Trust protected because it’s still privately owned by Lulworth Estate. Access is open and easy though, and there’s some beautiful walking in the area including Tynham village and the South West Coastal Path. Do be careful though, the Lulworth Army Range covers a large portion of the nearby landscape including many of the popular coastal paths. When the firing range is operational the Army Range property, including the paths, are closed. An example route is below and it contains the information and schedule for the firing range, as well as recent landslip information.
