I confess I wanted to stop in Andorra to easily add another country to my list and maybe do a bit of hiking. I regret I planned so little time here and would love to go back. It’s a lovely multi-cultural (and multi-lingual) country with a fantastic landscape for hiking. I can’t find the exact source of the gpx files I used, but I think they may have been from the site listed below. Getting to Andorra can be a touch difficult as there is no airport and there’s really only a single road that runs to and from France and Spain. There is a limited bus service via Andorra la Vella to both Toulouse and Barcelona. After much searching online I found it fairly easy to use. The bus from Toulouse was a large bus with only me on board. The bus to Barcelona was a minivan with every seat taken. Moral of the story: plan ahead and book you ticket in advance. Either way, it worked out fine. It’s a lovely country if you can stop there for a bit.
