Yorkshire Dales

Yorkshire Dales

I could share photos of the Yorkshire Dales forever. It’s a treasure I hope the UK people hold more precious than the Crown Jewels. The Yorkshire Dales have been around longer and are arguably more beautiful and valuable. This spot is descending from Ingleborough summit. Pen-Y-Ghent can be seen in the distance. The lovely little village of Horton-in-Ribblesdale lies hidden in the green valley between the two mountains. I was doing a drawn out version of the well-known ‘Three Peaks Challenge’ for a couple of my four days here. There are many variants to this walk but mine was loosely based on the one below.
