Canal d’Arles à Bouc

Arles is a beautiful city on the southern coast of France with a history stretching back to before the Celts. It was a major Roman city and many of the roman ruins are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The city is also famous as the historical residence of many artists, most notably Vincent Van Gogh, who produced hundreds of painting in Arles but also suffered major mental health issues. This photo is along the Canal d’Arles à Bouc a short distance from where Van Gogh’s Langlois Bridge at Arles was painted.
