Flowers at Canterbury Cathedral
Lovely flowers on the grounds of Canterbury Cathedral. Canterbury Cathedral is the cathedral of the Archbishop of Canterbury and is the location where the Archbishop Thomas à Becket was murdered on 29 December, 1170. The veneration of the site which followed attracted a large number of pilgrims over the years and was the destination of the traveling pilgrims in Geoffrey Chaucer’s famous book, The Canterbury Tales.
