Ganesha statue

Ganesha statue

A statue of Ganesha from a shop in Jaiselmer Fort, Rajasthan, India. I don’t know my iconography as well as I’d like but I did a little quick referencing on Ganesha. The weapon in his top right hand is an elephant goad, the loop in his top left is a pasha, and he’s using his trunk to taste some sweets in his lower left. How can one not love his turban? It was a great little statue and had I had the money I would have loved to have purchased it!
