Loch Lomond and the Highlands from Conic Hill. The summit of Conic Hill overlooks beautiful Loch Lomond and on a clear day you can see out into the Scottish Highlands. The approximate route I followed is linked below, though I explored the area and walked a greater distance than that specified. You can get to the trailhead by public transport. If the details are still relevant you can take a train from Glasgow to Balloch and then a bus to the car park in Balmaha. Check the for the updated train/bus lines/numbers before you go.
