A path on the Salisbury Plain

A path on the Salisbury Plain

A path on the Salisbury Plain in Southern England. Stonehenge is just behind me in the photo. I’ve left the car park and walked into the open field to continue to Amesbury. This is on a long, beautiful walk from Salisbury to Amesbury, listed below. On the walk you can visit Salisbury Cathedral, Old Sarum, and Stonehenge. It’s nearly 16 miles plus your stops though, so if you do it, you will need all of a long day with lots of sunlight. That said, it’s a fantastic memory from a warm July day!
