Salisbury Cathedral

Salisbury Cathedral

An interior shot, Salisbury Cathedral. I believe it may specifically be the north transept. A lovely place, Salisbury Cathedral makes the claim to the largest medieval spire in the United Kingdom, along with holding a copy of the Magna Carta. Of more interest to me were the lovely grounds in the shadow of the amazing facade. One can get to Salisbury by train and there are buses and tours to Old Sarum and Stonehenge from the city. In addition, one can also go from Salisbury to these locations by foot for a long but beautiful walk. See links below for details.
