A view of Jaisalmer Fort from further out in the city. Jaisalmerr is an amazing city in western Rajasthan. While it’s a bit of a train ride to get to, it’s a rewarding place to visit. The primary attraction is the impressive Jaisalmer Fort dominating the skyline. It a small walled city on hill that is an enchanting maze of alleyways, shops, and homes. About a quarter of Jaisalmer’s population still reside within its walls [1].
